Five Point to Upgrade User-Experience Design

Image
When the internet market seems to be full, user-experience is one of the most important points to focus on now. Great user-experience could not only save the number of users, but also provide users with a high viscosity. Since, user-experience is important, well, what is user-experience? "User experience (UX) refers to a person's emotions and attitudes about using a particular product, system or service. It includes the practical, experiential, affective, meaningful and valuable aspects of human–computer interaction and product ownership. Additionally, it includes a person’s perceptions of system aspects such as utility, ease of use and efficiency. User experience may be considered subjective in nature to the degree that it is about individual perception and thought with respect to the system. User experience is dynamic as it is constantly modified over time due to changing usage circumstances and changes to individual systems as well as the wider usage context

Why We Use Image Editing Tools to Make Prototypes?

Image
Everyday, designers need to use lots of designing tools, also they might need to creat many prototypes. Recently, I found that many designers use image editing tools to make prototypes. It is one of the ways to make prototypes, but, is this really the best option? First of all, let's check out the image editing tools that we use most commonly: 1. PS 2. Sketch 3. Fireworks 4. OmniGraffle Each of them has its own use scenario. In other words, here are the slogans of them, and perhaps the purpose of why those designers and programmers developed them. PS:Image editing and compositing. Sketch:Professional digital design for Mac. Fireworks:Image editing for websites and apps. OmniGraffle:OmniGraffle is for creating precise, beautiful graphics... Why I'm saying that these four image editing tools are not the best options for making prototypes in most situations? Reason 1: They are great image editing tools, but they hardly have the ability of creating

How to Test The Prototype of Your Product?

Image
Prototype design is one of the necessary parts in product design and development. Prototype design plays a role which is more important than before. The success of prototype designs, sometimes directly affects the final quality of this product. At the same time, a qualified prototype can simulate the real product from many aspects, it will effectively reflect the problems of this product. So, how can we analyze the problem of product from a prototype? Here involves the testing of the prototype. 1. The aims and purpose of testing: The aim of testing a prototype is to simulate the real App, Web or other types of products in the application scenarios, and to problems and risks may exist in actual products. The purpose of testing a prototype is not the same as the aim. You can have various purposes, for example: you can test whether this is interface user-friendly, whether the result of clicking this button meets what users want,  etc. But, in the testing, you may need to pay attent

How to Get Extra Point in Global Design?

Image
With the development of globalization, information technology industry is rising, software design and development are now showing the trend of increasing too. There are not only some design companies like Tubik Studio, but also freelancers on Dribbble, Benhance, etc. The formation of the global village is becoming more completed in the age of information, and the globalization also affects this age. There are a lot of software designers are planning to work for the foreigners. Well, in the process of globalization, what can we do to gain extra points for our prototype design? 1. Displaying language If an American  customer does not explicitly state that the product is made for Chinese users, then you cannot cover your work with Chinese characters. Some of you may ask, isn't there a localization after the product launched? Believe me, all the localization works of the software are always from the customers' local language to other languages. You want your customers to spend
